Today has been one of those days where I feel like I am seeing God unfold His plan right before my eyes. I love those times when we see God move and feel His hand in our situation. Thanks so much to those of you who have been praying for us and our situation with this birthmother. Things seems to be progressing. We have talked through text numerous times and today I received a text from her saying, "Do you have a doctor you would like me to see or a specific place to give birth to the baby." I happen to teach with a guy whose dad is a WELL known and GODLY OBGYN. He instantly called his dad and his dad said, I want to do this and go through this with Jeremy and Emily. What a miracle in and of itself. I never imagined that a Godly man who is on our side would be taking care of this sweet mother and baby. He encouraged me to call her and give her his name and number. I called her tonight and it was such a blessing. Jeremy and I have been praying for so long for the first time we meet or talk to this mother and let me just say, I felt God's peace and presence. We had a wonderful conversation. She is suppose to call the doctor tomorrow and even said that when the apt came for her to find out the sex that she wanted me there!!! Could this really be happening. God is laying this road out before me and allowing me to be a part of this little life from the very beginning! We talked for a while and she told me that she wants to come up to school tomorrow to see her friend Kelly and to meet me. Kelly is a girl on my softball team and if it all works out she is going to come by tomorrow after school and meet me!

Please be in prayer for this time tomorrow. Please pray that I would know how to love her right where she is and minister to her. I know we are suppose to stay guarded and know that things can change at any moment, but I know that right now God is in this relationship and I am praying for a peace each step of the way. Thank you again for your sweet prayers, support and love.

I believe that when we allow ourselves to give up what we want and begin to seek out what God's Will for our life is, we are at the beginning of allowing His desires for us to become our own desires.
It is then that we are ready to receive the "desires of our hearts".
I believe deep down in my heart that God has given you and Jeremy this strong desire for a sweet, precious baby. I believe that His desires and yours have become one, and the time is getting close for him to reward your faithfulness...
Your faithfulness to pray for the baby that He is holding in His hands and waiting to place in your arms...your faithfulness to continue serving Him as you wait, your faithfulness to wait and not give up, your faithfulness to continue this journey called life knowing and trusting that He is in control.
My heart is filled with complete joy for the two of you, as I sit back and see God moving...We are continuing to pray for you and Jeremy, the birth mother, your families, and baby Echols!
I look forward to the day when your desires are fulfilled!
Praying so hard for you! I know she will be drawn to you when she meets you because of God's love shining through you and your obvious love for her. You will never go wrong in loving and ministering to someone and God might just let this someone be the birthmother of your precious baby! So excited about the possibilities!
